Stephanie played for University of Oklahoma from 1995-1999 where she played under Patty Gasso as Gasso's first recruit.  The Sooners won two Big 12 Conference Championships in 1996 and 1999.  All four years the Sooners qualified for Regional berths.

Although recruited as a catcher, Stephanie played a majority of her career in the outfield where she earned her starting position both junior and senior years.  She was called upon many times as the designated hitter in crucial situations her first two years.

Head Coach Patty Gasso states "Stephanie has one of the best swings that I have seen on an athlete.  She goes and hits more than anyone else!"

Stephanie attributes her success as an athlete to having a hard work ethic.  "Success is not always measured in stats.  Success is measured in personal achievement.  I have never been the strongest or the fastest, but I believe that my work ethic is what keeps me a step ahead of the next player.  I have learned to be a great leader and my teammates respect me more for how hard I work and getting done when it counts!"  I am always striving to be the best and determined to become better with each day."
