Tot's 'N Training (TNT)
Teaching tomorrow's major leaguers, the fundamental movements of baseball, in a fun way!
Tot's 'N Training (TNT)
Start your Baseball and Softball experience off right as you develop your fundamentals and techniques during our Tot's iN Training program. This program is specificallly DESIGNED to train your child in motor skill development as well as teaching them teamwork and independant thinking, two very important life skills.
Laurie McFarlane (Occupational Therapist) and Steve Ontiveros (Major League ALL Star) and the TNT staff have combined their resources to create a learning environment that is both challenging and fun.
Parent-Tot (2 year old and Parent)
A perfect way to introduce your child to baseball skills, team activities and new friends with the support of their parent! Short station rotation emphasizes specific skills, maintain attention and the games in the class incorporate the skills and teamwork with an overall emphasis on fun!
Farm Beginner (3-5 year olds)
This class is designed for our first timers. We will emphasize learning the fundamentals of baseball in a fun-filled, structured environment. Your child will learn throwing, catching, batting, base-running and fielding. Improvements will be made in balance, agility, eye-hand coordination, flexibility and strength.
Farm Intermediate (3-5 year olds, Instructor recommended)
Progressive advancement to more fielding, footwork, advanced batting techniques and actual games incorporating positions and base-running techniques; the ultimate preparation for T-Ball
Rookie Ball (Ages 4-5)
The next step in our series will focus on baseball oriented drills and techniques as the child's development has advanced. More emphasis will be put on game type scenarios as we introduce them to their first taste of a baseball game. Players will take their positions in the field and learn to make a play and throw to the correct base. Base-running, throwing, catching, sliding and reading the coaches signals will be the primary areas of focus.
A-Ball (Ages 5-7)
The next stage is for the player who has developed skills taught in our earlier classes. The player will practice game situations and responsibilities as well as advanced fielding techniques. Players will face coach pitch as they continue to develop eye-hand-coordination and eye tracking skills. We will also focus on encouraging each other with yells and screams, building the foundations of teamwork. It would not be an uncommon sight to see our players hit the ball out of the park and dive after the ball!
AA-Ball (Ages 7-8)
Our AA-Ball class operates just like a team! Foot placement for different positions, knowing the pitch count to position yourself correctly, making those double plays and understanding baseball strategy to become the best player you can be. Fundamentals are continued to be taught and practiced as advanced skills and drills come into play. Continued training in proper baserunning, sliding, throwing, catching and hitting are always part of our program, we just do it in a more exciting and challenging way! We take pride in sending our players out to the little leagues with confidence, professionalism and a love for baseball!
